Just came into possession of a beer refrigerator from a store that went out
of business. I have adjusted the thermostat to the highest temperature setting, but it is still 48 degrees F, approximately 10 degrees F cooler than the recommended cellar temperature. Other than the need to warm up my wine bottles, any other ill effects? TIA, Gary |

It does seem to me, and this might just be my imagination, that the wines age more slowly at cooler temps, and this may or may not be an issue. Is it possible to relocate the temp probe, say, closer to the refrigeration coils, so it will register colder than the rest of the box? -- Mike MTM, Cokesbury, New Jersey, USA |

Mike,
Thanks for your response. When I read it, I realized that a friend of mine has a gadget called "Wine-Stat" that is a temperature regulator for refrigerators that allows their temperature to be controlled to wine cellar temperatures. I just got it from him today, and it appears to be working great. Not only will my wines be at cellar temperature, but I expect some electricity savings as well!
