http://www.homebrewhaus.biz/html/may_mead_madness.html Welcome to the Annual May Mead Madness presented by the New Bern Brew Club, Alcohol Through Fermentation (ATF). We have been hosting the event along with a Bar-B-Que in May for the last 5 years.We are AHA and BJCP sanctioned. Entry fees are as follows $6.00 for the 1st entry. $5.00 for each additional entry. 2 bottles per entry Brown Bottles free of any markings 12 to 16 ounce bottles Labels attached to bottles with rubber bands, no tape.Bottles with taped labels will be disqualified. PLEASE NOTE: ALL MEADS WILL BE STORED AT AMBIENT ROOM TEMPERATURE AND WILL BE JUDGED AT AMBIENT TEMPERATUURE. This years event will be held on May 21, 2005 and will start at 10:00 a.m. sharp. Entries should be sent to the following address and must arrive between May 9 through May 14, 2005: Homebrew Haus 1201 US Hwy 70 East New Bern, NC 28560 ATTN: MMM We are always looking for judges....enjoy some of the finest meads and a fine dinner afterward. |
