We are just making wine out of pineapple juice and we are racking
tomorrow from the bucket to a carboy. When shall we rack the next time? And is it necessary to add campden tablets every racking? Or is there something else we should add, or nothing at all? Thanks for your advices Werner |

I take it that you and susanne are together?
Your second racking will depend on when the gross lees are for the most part done falling. Generally I ferment in primary for a week or two, secondary for a month and then every 3-6 months after that. You will add campden when you need to bring your SO2 levels up. Buy some titrets and use them. I generally need to add sulfite after primary and after the second racking then once more before bottling. Good luck Werner wrote: > We are just making wine out of pineapple juice and we are racking > tomorrow from the bucket to a carboy.
