I am making a grape juice wine with 2 pounds of sugar per gallon and a
pound of honey per gallon. Is there a name for this wine/mead combination? Also, are there any commervail meads out there? |

Actually a mead made with grape juice is called a Pyment.

I would recommend you use a hydrometer and calculate your sugar/honey
additions. That sounds like a lot of sugar to add, and it quite likely may not complete or possibly even start fermenting. Just a thought... John, you are right. It wasn't that much sugar and honey. It was a
total of 2 pounds sugar and honey, about half and half. |
